Sweden’s Holjes Motorstadion has been added to the schedule for Projekt E’s debut season this year, replacing the canceled round at Igora Drive.

The addition of the fully electric Projekt E class onto the support bill for the FIA World Rallycross Championship round at Holjes brings the new category’s inaugural season back up to five rounds.

Holjes, located in central Sweden near the Norwegian border, will host Projekt E on July 4-5 for the third of five rounds.

The addition was made following the cancelation of a Russian race at the new Igora Drive circuit, which was communicated in the FIA World Motor Sport Council decisions on Friday.

Igora Drive was set to host Projekt E and World RX on July 18-19 but the round has been scrapped altogether for vague reasons.

2020 Projekt E Schedule (Updated)

May 16-17 – Benelux (Spa-Francorchamps)
June 13-14 – Norway (Hell)
July 4-5 – Sweden (Holjes)
Aug. 1-2 – Germany (Nürburgring)
Sept. 19-20 – Riga-Latvia (Bikernieki)
