Yvan Muller Racing is the latest team to reveal its electric plans for this winter’s Trophee Andros season, calling on Franck Lagorce and Yann Ehrlacher to lead its entry.
The pair will drive Yvan Muller’s two electric silhouette cars in the Elite Pro class, while TCR Europe driver Natan Bihel and European Le Mans Series LMP3 regular Laurent Millara will run in the Elite category.
Ehrlacher currently competes in FIA WTCR for Cyan Performance Lynk & Co, while ten-time 24 Hours of Le Mans starter Lagorce has been a regular in recent Trophee Andros seasons.
Lagorce drove one of the series three full-season electric entries in the 2018-19 campaign (pictured above).
“It’s a new challenge to come back to the Andros Trophy as a team,” said team manager Yvan Muller.
“This is a first for us but we have a good team and I intend to use all my experience to get the win!”
Eight of 12 places in the now fully electrified Elite Pro and Elite classes have now been filled, with Yvan Muller’s program joining two-car entries from Sebastien Loeb Racing, Sylvain Pussier Competition and DA Racing.
Only DA Racing, which will run Nico Prost and Jean-Baptiste Dubourg, has revealed what car it will run – Renault Zoes – while the other three teams including Yvan Muller are yet to reveal plans.
All 12 cars will be based on identical chassis from Exagon Engineering, while teams are free to add manufacturer-specific silhouette bodyshells on top.
