Hi guys, another solid podcast, with some interesting information. The question I have is this: I have heard that the Nio team have serious communication issues between the management in China and the race team in Oxfordshire. We have seen that the Nio car keeps eating up it’s energy more than other teams at the end of each stint. Should Oliver Turvey jump ship to another team (Maybe Porsche or Mercedes in season 6?) like his former teammate Piquet Jnr. did, Or should he stick with it and try to score more podiums despite the repeated fundamental issues that keep plaguing their car? I feel like he is a very talented FE driver who could easily be fighting for the title, but the team is holding him back from his full potential. Then again the grass is always greener on the other side…

We agree on Turvey. Pound for pound he’s been one of the best drivers.

As for the team, it hasn’t been easy as they are essentially a start-up and of course they sadly lost their driving force in Martin Leech.

Gerry Hughes has done a fine job in building the team since and it continues to recruit and grow. It has to if it is to remain competitive.

My feeling is that they should be judged more after S5. Whether or not OT is part of the team or not, we will just have to wait and see.

    Hello guys

I have listened yesterday your Podcast. I really appreciated the information of Formula E inside the Paddock, very useful for my job, which is main focused in José María López.

I have a feeling for Luca Filippi. Formula E is not easy for drivers, and teams, and I think NIO should have him for the full season. In addition, they are struggling with a lot of problems since Marrakech.

Turvey told me in Santigo, in a interview I had with him, and he is very happy to race with NIO and, in a response to my question If he is a very unlucky driver, that he don’t believe in luck.

I like so much your Podcast and my hope is the return of Formula E to Buenos Aires to see the Gen 2 Car, looks amazing!

    Cheers
