Felix Rosenqvist posted the quickest time in Free Practice 2 for the Rome E-Prix on Saturday morning while the session was again ended prematurely after Alex Lynn crashed.

The Mahindra Racing driver set a best time of 1:35.467 as most drivers set full-power 200 kW laps, going 0.344 seconds clear of Sam Bird.

Bird’s DS Virgin Racing teammate Lynn crashed late in the session with a side impact at the final chicane after an incident at Turn 1 in Free Practice 1 earlier this morning.

The session didn’t restart as a result of Lynn’s crash, with no practice starts allowed unlike after FP1.

Lucas di Grassi was the third quickest driver for Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler while Jose Maria Lopez went fourth quickest in his Dragon Racing car.

Nico Prost and Sebastien Buemi completed the top six positions, meanwhile.

Another incident involved Andre Lotterer who locked up after the crest into Turn 9, running ahead into the escape road.

Qualifying will take place at 12 p.m. local time.
