GEOX Dragon took the wraps off its 2019-20 ABB FIA Formula E Championship contender, the Penske EV-4, at an event in Venice on Friday.
The team’s brand-new driver lineup of Brendon Hartley and Nico Mueller presented the car alongside title sponsor GEOX’s president Mario Moretti Polegato.
GEOX Dragon has also pledged to embark on several environmental initiatives to raise awareness of climate change and reduce its own impact.
The team presentation included a discussion between GEOX CEO Matteo Mascazzini, PWC director Massimo Leonardo, professor Andrea Stocchetti and Formula E CEO Jamie Reigle along with members of the team.
GEOX Dragon will be the only independent entry in Formula E this season alongside a full field of factory and customer entries.
“This season is a landmark season for the Team and the championship,” said Dragon and Penske Autosport owner Jay Penske.
“The entire organization has done tremendous work throughout last season and during the offseason to get us to this point, and I am pleased to be racing a livery that really represents our approach, our principles, and our spirit.
“I look forward to the start of the season next week in Diriyah.”
