Pietro Fittipaldi is set to test for Panasonic Jaguar Racing again at next month’s Marrakesh rookie test after driving in the same event last year.
The Brazilian has made no secret of his interest in racing in the ABB FIA Formula E Championship in the past.
“I think for every driver, Formula E is now very interesting, especially with the technology and all the manufacturers coming in now,” Fittipaldi told e-racing365 last year.
The 22-year-old saw a busy 2018 season compromized by injuries received in his qualifying accident at the FIA World Endurance Championship Six Hours of Spa in May.
He returned to racing after a three-month layoff to recuperate from his leg injuries in July when he made his comeback Verizon IndyCar Series appearance at Mid-Ohio.
He completed the season with Dale Coyne Racing before returning to training to undergo more rehabilitation in the off-season.
He was announced in November as Haas F1 team’s official test driver and ran with the team at the post-season test in Abu Dhabi.
Official confirmation of his plan to test for Jaguar in Morocco is expected to come next week.
