DS Techeetah launched its own Omologato watch, the DS Techeetah Chronograph, at its Monaco E-Prix warm up party on Thursday.

The DS Techeetah Chronograph is waterproof to 10ATM (30 feet) and is housed in a bespoke 45mm case made using surgical standard stainless steel with black IP coating complimented with an Italian leather black rally strap.

The dial is matt finish with gold and red highlights to match the 2019 DS Techeetah Season 5 DS E-TENSE FE19 livery.

The highly accurate Japanese Meca-Quartz Chronograph movements and flat sapphire coated glass completes this bespoke piece.

“We’re very excited to launch our own team watch together with Omologato,” said DS Techeetah chief commercial officer Keith Smout.

“Watches have always been synonymous with motorsport as time-keeping is essential in our sport. When Omologato approached us with the idea to create our own team watch we immediately jumped on board.

“The DS Techeetah Chronograph will be worn by all team members and the first editions, which will be limited to just 100 watches, can be pre-ordered now on the Omologato website for delivery from July 2019.”

Omologato founder Shami Kalra added: “We’ve always been big supporters of Formula E and have been involved since near the beginning of the series.

“When the opportunity arose to work with the current championship leaders, DS Techeetah, we were delighted to say yes. Creating a bespoke team watch is the next step in our partnership and we’re very excited to introduce the DS Techeetah Chronograph in Monaco on the team yacht – what better place than the municipality known for its racing history and glamour.”
