Tatiana Calderon is set to line up alongside James Rossiter at DS Techeetah for next weekend’s Marrakesh rookie test.
The Colombian is said to have impressed the team during her day of running in one of the DS E-Tense FE19 Formula E cars for the first time in Saudi Arabia last month.
Calderon told e-racing365 last month that she would like more seat time with DS Techeetah after completing 63 laps in Ad Diriyah.
She was invited to the December test by the Chinese-entered team and set the second fastest lap time out of the invited female drivers.
The former GP3 driver, who is believed to be close to confirming a Formula 2 seat for 2019, now wants to be part of further tests in Formula E.
“I think I did a good job for the team and I think so far we’ve been able to show I can adapt and perform as they instruct me,” Calderon told e-racing365.
“I would love to be part of another test and also spend more time with the team, it is a target now to do that.
“I want to learn more about Formula E because it is really coming up strong now as a top global championship.”
Calderon said that she was satisfied with the way the test played out and how she was prepared by the team.
“Obviously, I had to get used to everything and the track and I think the team has prepared me quite well for that in the sim and yesterday, looking at some data,” she said.
“Our program was just to get comfortable, get the laps in and we managed to do a good amount of laps, I felt quite good in the car, so I am quite happy.”
