Up and coming single-seater driver Amna Al Qubaisi is set to drive an Envision Virgin Racing Formula E car at the official ABB FIA Formula E Championship test in Riyadh next month.
The 18-year-old is expected to drive one of Envision Virgin’s Audi-powered cars on Nov. 16 during the six hours of running at the mixed-gender test.
Al Qubaisi is the eldest daughter of Khaled Al Qubaisi who was the first Emirati to compete at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2013, while her sister Hamda Al Qubaisi currently races in karts.
She has raced for the Prema Powerteam in Italian Formula 4 in 2018 and is likely to continue in the series in 2019.
Her selection for the test driver would see a partnership synergy take affect as both envision Virgin and Al Qubaisi share the support of technology company Kaspersky.
