Inside Enel’s MotoE Charging Technology

A look at the charging equipment used in MotoE and its similarities to city center chargers…

The charging equipment for motorcycles in the FIM Enel MotoE World Cup is the same technology as used in Enel’s fast chargers located in towns and cities across Europe.

In this video, Enel’s eMotorsport charging infrastructure development engineer Alberto Venanzoni and MotoE rider Alex de Angelis provide a closer insight into the brand’s charging systems in the championship.

In addition to its position as title sponsor and charging supplier for MotoE, Enel also provides charging equipment in the ABB FIA Formula E Championship.

Last month, it was also confirmed as smart charging supplier for ETCR.

Moto E is still too slow.
It’s being considred a “support” series to MotoGP.
    That has to change.
The 2nd Generation of Moto E vehicles needs to be faster than M2/M3 and somehwere along the lines of MotoGP.
I’m also a bit confused as to why Moto E isn’t street racing like Formula E.
