MDD Europe will be in charge of ‘e-safety’ services for the ETCR platform, providing safety and medical training to drivers and personnel working on the cars.
The six-year contract between WSC Group and MDD as sole supplier will also include a dedicated extrication team with an on-track doctor and the supply of e-safety and medical and extrication equipment specialized to the particular safety demands of electric motorsport.
Having been awarded the FIA’s sole official supplier for medical products in motorsport” contract, MDD is the market leader in supplying the motorsport industry with on-track extrication teams, medical equipment, clinical staff, safety personnel and consultancy and training to competing teams, organisers and drivers.
MDD’s existing clients include the ABB FIA Formula E Championship, Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY, FIM Enel MotoE World Cup, McLaren, Mercedes-AMG, Porsche, BMW and Audi.
